ALESIA SHUTE

When Alesia Shute was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7, her life was redirected. She would survive six major surgeries, several minor surgeries, hours of pain and months of hospitalization. Her book, Everything's Okay, is now available as an illustrated account of her survival detailing not only the challenges of her recovery, but her desire to give back and make a difference in the lives of families suffering from childhood illnesses.

The mission of the Alesia Shute Foundation is to improve the lives of families facing childhood disease, both by making hospital stays more comfortable and by funding the research that will treat or eliminate childhood illnesses.
